Nanka Students Union Igbo Debate Competition was an academic activity previously sponsored by Late Prof Bernice Ezeilo, the Pioneer Secretary of Nanka Students Union. The activity came to a purse after her demise. In the year 2022, Mr Obinna Ezeilo took over the sponsorship of the Igbo Debate Competition in Memory of his mother. Henceforth, Prof Bernice Ezeilo Memorial Igbo Debate Competition has become an annual event in the life of the Union. The leadership of Nanka Students Union is very grateful to Mr Obinna Ezeilo for all he has been doing for the Union. It must be noted that before now, Mr Obinna Ezeilo has been supporting the Union in different capacities. He was the one that designed the Union’s website which is functional till date.
